Winter in the PNW

After months of dismal ice, crud and general suffering, the PNW (specifically mt. baker) reminded me why skiing is my favorite non curricular activity.

100 Miles of Glacier National Park

4 Days. 100 Miles. Team Khanabad Strikes Again. This was my first true hiking experience in Glacier (which is embarrassing as i am a native Montanan)...and it was truly glorious.

This trip gave me the opportunity to test out a few new pieces of gear including:
-GoLite Virga Jacket (rendered almost useless by hot day/nighttime temps)
-Gossamer Gear NightLite Pad, Torso Length (surprising comfortable)
-Big Agnes Pitchpine 40 Deg. 800 Fill Down Bag (very warm, cavernous, pad sleeve a great addition)
-BackpackingLight waterproof pack liner (very handy/useless as we saw few clouds, much less rain)
